Jun 23, 2020 · Kiddieland opened in 1949, and train was there at least as far back as the 60s. For a time, the park had a picnic ground to the north of the amusement park, and the train carried visitors between the two. Sauzer's advertised it as a Mile-long Train Ride. I'm not sure of the actual length, but to a kid, it seemed like many miles.
